Truly authentic and traditional, the restaurant was founded in 1998 by chef Gianmaria Zanotti with a focus on northern Italian cuisine. It has the comforting air of an old-school establishment. A good place for a date night or a business meeting.

Start with the antipasti of insalata di polpo, where the tomato concasse brings out the flavour of the fresh rock octopus. Another option is tegamino di cozze vongole e polpo di scoglio, or sauteed clams and coral octopus with a choice of Mediterranean or New Zealand mussels in garlic, chilli and tomato basil ragout. For pasta, the signature handmade black squid ink linguine with fresh seafood is bursting with flavour while zucchini chunks add to the texture. For the mains, opt for salmon steak seasoned with olive oil and fresh herbs. A meatier choice is pork fillet with Castelmagno DOC cheese and sautéed mushrooms. The rich cheese sauce goes well with lean medallions of pork that are cooked to a tender, slightly blushing pink. Finish with a classic dessert such as tiramisu di Gianmaria. This mascarpone cheese and Italian coffee combination provides a soft and smooth ending.
