Setting

This is a great place for a get-together with friends and family as it has a relaxed outdoor area in which to dine or have drinks. The restaurant’s menu emphasises a variety of cured meats and the decor of ham hocks and giant pieces of meat combined with red bricks makes for an interesting reflection of that.

Food

Try a refreshing seasonal salad or opt for grilled house-made sausages including spicy sausage, black pepper sausage and fennel sausage. It comes with a tiny bottle of sauce deliciously made from beef stock and red wine. Rigatoni Iberico ham is a mouthwatering main course. Cooked in cheese, the rigatoni is topped with thin slices of cured ham and is served with capers, cherry tomatoes and a pine nut crumble. The hefty wagyu burger is challenging but worth risking the meat sweats. It includes home-made cheese, slices of bacon and avocado, and an omelet in addition to the thick piece of wagyu beef. For dessert, the restaurant offers a mango and sticky rice dish with a twist. The combination of mango macaroon, coconut milk ice cream, and white chocolate crumble is an interesting take on a Thai classic, if rather heavy on the sugar.

Wine

A decent wine list with bottles and by the glass from France, Spain, Australia, South Africa, Argentina and more. A selection of craft beer is also available.
