The distinctive salads are tangy, with ultra-fresh and widely sourced ingredients. Try grilled king prawn salad with baby eggplant, lemongrass, mint leaves, chilli paste and lime dressing. Also good is succulent poached Phuket rock lobster served with pomegranate, boa bok leaves and crispy shallots. Other unusual salads feature white turmeric root with seafood, and sweet turnip with dried cuttlefish. The signature main dish, and it is a well-deserved status, is lamb shank massaman. It combines the rich and distinctive flavours of the coconut-based curry with the succulence of marinated lamb. Also of interest is a dish of huge seared scallops served on a spicy bed of asparagus accompanied by an intense chilli-garlic sauce. The delectable grouper fillet is deep-fried until crispy and enjoyed with palm sugar, tamarind and lemongrass sauce. Vegetarian dishes are also available.
