For the stunning views of the Suthep-Pui mountain range in the distance and the resort’s in-house paddy fields (along with two resident buffalos) in the foreground. The menu has expanded, with greater emphasis now on pasta, pizzas and other Italian dishes, and the experience is always memorable.

Caprese salad featuring Royal Project produce ( juicy beef tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, refreshing mango and fresh herbs) has been an antipasti highlight for years and remains a great way to start a meal. Perfect for romantic tete-a-tetes, capellini all’ astice pasta comes with Canadian lobster, chardonnay, calamari and fresh herbs. The thick-crusted white pizza with pancetta, brie, scamorza, olives and pickled vegetables is arguably the best pizza to be found in Chiang Mai. But if you come with a big appetite, then the tender wagyu prime rib served on the bone with pan-fried foie gras, Barolo wine reduction, white truffle oil and fresh Mediterranean herbs from the resort’s garden is a must. End the meal with a generous cheese platter before hopping onto the buggy home.
