Setting

Named after the beautiful golden Thai dessert, Saneh Jaan offers Thai food with authentic flavours in an elegant setting. Using the finest native herbs and spices, the restaurant hopes to showcase the distinct cooking styles of Thailand’s various regions.

Food

Begin with fried fishcakes with sweet and sour sauce before moving on to Thai vermicelli served with red curry and crab. The well-balanced curry comes with a generous amount of crabmeat. The eggs in the five spices egg with pork dish are perfectly boiled, while the pork is flavourful with sweet hints of spices. Contrasting with the mild sweetness of the spices is piquant curry chicken with baby eggplant. It is heavily flavoured with Thai green curry paste, especially green bird’s eye chilli. For a traditional dessert, try the mildly sweet and creamy rice with taro and melon in coconut syrup. It leaves lingering fresh flavours of summer dancing on the tongue.

Wine

The drinks menu consists of a wide selection of cocktails, whiskies and wines. However, herbal drinks shown in the limited non-alcoholic section depend on availability.
