Food

The yum poo nim tod mamuang (tempura fried soft-shell crab and green mango salad) offers a refreshing start. Served with Thai herbs, chilli and lime dressing, the green mango is tangy against the crab’s light flavour and the crunchy cashew nuts. Tod man pla, fish cake of blended white fish fillet with red curry paste, snake beans and kaffir lime leaf, is also a satisfying appetiser. For the main course, gaeng phed ped yang is made with local duck roasted for over four hours and cooked in red curry coconut sauce with lychee, sweet basil and chilli. A must-try is the signature twice cooked crispy pork belly. Glazed with tamarind, the pork belly is perfectly crisp. The twist lies in the accompanying roast pumpkin puree with apple and young ginger marmalade, which is served with stir-fried morning glory. Finish with the heavy and rich tiramisu or a Thai classic, mango and sticky rice.
