Setting

This is an elegant and charming restaurant with Lanna inspired decor and architecture, traditionally clad staff, a menu of classical Thai dishes, plus a smattering of international offerings.

Food

Start with the refreshing and light pomelo salad with grilled prawns and crispy rice crackers with a pork and shrimp dip, or the tart sour pork spare ribs soup with young tamarind leaves. For a main course, sliced roasted duck breast with lychee in red curry sauce goes deliciously with steamed sea bass filet with garlic and lime sauce and a side of wok-fried bok choy with garlic and soy sauce. The menu is simple and fuss-free, but each dish delivers in terms of flavour and uses the freshest of produce. End the meal with the iconic mango with sticky rice, or the aromatic jasmine panna cotta.

Rating : 30/40

Wine

There is a great selection of cocktails, including a martini menu with some old classics such as the Rob Roy and the negroni. The wine list isn’t vast, but covers all the bases.
