Riedel Wine Bar & Cellar is well-suited to an ultra-private lunch or dinner. Every table at the restaurant seems like its own private corner, particularly good for true relaxation. The rustic European food here is satisfying and the wine collection is comprehensive.

For starters, try stracciatella and bottarga, a smooth, creamy cheese starter infused with the appetising scent of olive oil and flavoured with lightly textured Maldon salt. Contrast the mild dish with a second starter, the pleasantly sour polmard beef tartare. With taste buds fully awakened, proceed to the more substantial mains such as Australian black angus beef tenderloin. Try ordering rare, as the steak is perfectly grilled so that the inside remains soft while the outside delightfully crispy. Small portions allow for at least another main dish, so try iberico lamb. Aside from the rustic presentation that encourages a satisfying session of hands-on eating, the lamb is simply wonderful—not excessively overpowering and fittingly paired with slightly bitter spinach. Finish with mixed berry and chocolate pavlova, a mouth-watering experience.
