Start with the nicely presented creamy lobster cappuccino soup topped with cognac foam and served with bread fried in olive oil. Equally delicious is smoked salmon and avocado with pomegranate seeds, rocket salad, lemon and dill. Although Prime is predominantly a steakhouse, there is a good selection of pasta, Thai and seafood dishes available. For a main course try one of the signature wooden platters. Recommended is ovenbaked salmon and duchesse potato served with a dill sauce. Also good is hearty black onyx 270-day grainfed tenderloin served with corn and grilled tomato. Complementing the perfectly seared beef is a choice of sauces and side dishes. The dessert menu is limited but recommended is the refreshing home-made ice cream and a delicious cinnamon creme brulee. Swedish owner-chefs Anders and Peter Hagstedt and his staff are very hands on and are able to guide diners through their menu choices.
