Setting

Located in the suburbs of Bangkok at a well-known golf club, this classically decorated restaurant serves a wide selection of dim sum and authentic Cantonese dishes. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Both seafood and meat are of a high quality.

Food

Begin your meal with freshly prepared dim sum from a wide range: dumplings with an almost translucent coating containing succulent prawns with a hint of garlic, or honey-glazed buns with an incredibly tasty filling of juicy, tender chunks of pork. Follow this with a well-balanced spicy hot and sour soup. Fresh fish and seafood is well represented and an excellent choice is the simply steamed river perch with garlic, cooked so there is just a little bite left in it, the white flesh flaking ever so slightly. Roast pork is perfectly prepared; tender flesh with a crispy, crunchy crackling skin enjoyed with a sweet and sour dipping sauce. Ensure you have space to accommodate dessert from an extensive selection of traditional offerings including custard buns, the inside a hot, smooth, unctuous, rich, sweet filling. It is a fitting end to a fine meal.

Wine

The wine list offers an extensive selection of predominantly French reds alongside an interesting range of unusual Chinese teas.
