It is best to stick with the classics at this restaurant, which exudes Old World elegance. Start with beef tartare which is assembled tableside and makes for culinary theatre as dozens of ingredients are tossed and mixed to taste by white-gloved waiters. Alternatively, try the classic frog legs, richly flavoured escargot or pan-fried foie gras served with a delicate peach sauce. There are many quality imported items and premium local ingredients brought in daily, from Maine lobster to Kobe steak and rainbow trout to lamb racks. All are cooked with the focus on technique. The sauces are always on point and garnishes minimal. End the meal with more classic French fare with desserts such as souffles and crepes suzette. Better yet, try the generously portioned cheese platter.

The wine list is focused on the Old World, especially French wines, though there are representations from all major regions. There is a good selection of cognacs and single malts, as well as classic cocktails.
