Deep-fried sea bass with the signature aromatic fish sauce is served in a portion large enough for two. The fish is fresh, cooked crisp on the outside but soft and tender on the inside. It goes very well with steamed rice and the zip of another signature dish, giant catfish roe sour soup, which comes in a hot pot. Another excellent choice is stir-fried crab in yellow curry sauce. A must-try dish, it is packed with fresh crab meat. Also good is grilled freshwater shrimps served with a choice of piquant dipping sauces. Banana shrimps are also the star ingredient in a stir-fried dish flavoured with salt, chilli and garlic. Cooked crispy, the sweet tasting crustaceans pair very well with a glass of chilled sauvignon blanc. Most of the dishes here are offered in two sizes so they can be eaten as individual choices or as part of a larger sharing meal. A selection of iced Thai desserts end the meal.
