Chef Battolu changes her gourmet menu when she finds fresh local or imported products. Try her tagliere assortments; one is marinated grilled vegetables with grand reserve parma ham, salami and Italian cheeses, the other is fresh seafood with prawns, baked oysters and baby squid with pesto sauce, olives and marinated artichoke. Her risotto is also wonderful, such as creamy marinara with prawns, clams, squid, mussels, wine and parsley. There are imported Australian beef cuts including an impressive 1kg tomahawk steak for two. The chef also serves cacciucco, the famous Italian seafood stew, with Phuket lobster, tiger prawns, squid, mussels and clams in a thick tomato stew. Other recommendations include scaloppini di vitello, thin slices of veal with cepes mushrooms, potato gnocchi and fresh parsley. Panna cotta al pistachio with blackberry jelly and chocolate sauce is a great way to end.
