Opened in 2017, this rustic tapas bar and restaurant serves a mix of truly authentic Spanish and Mediterranean dishes with an emphasis on quality locally-sourced products. The ambience is both friendly and fun.

Begin with a selection of small plates from the wide range offered. Baked cod brandade is rich and unctuous, gratinated and served with freshly toasted bread. Follow this with the crispy crumb-coated serrano ham croquettes paired with a smooth mushroom mayonnaise. Char-grilled fish and seafood are a feature. The fresh jumbo prawns—the juicy flesh made tasty with a coating of garlic and a wonderful char from the grill—are accompanied by a spicy chilli sauce. Alternatively, opt for the perfectly grilled Australian striploin. It has a melt-in-the-mouth texture and comes with a smooth and light pepper sauce made from the meat juices. Leave some room for dessert. Recommended is a traditional flourless almond cake with a wonderfully moist texture served with an unusual ice cream of plum and rum. Alternatively try the home-made shortbread topped with an rich dark chocolate ganache.
