Set just behind a leading shopping centre and sharing space with a perfumery, scented-candle and aromatic retail outlet, the restaurant is a lovely haven to while away the early post-shopping evening. The decor is a mixture of steel, stone and marble best described as industrial chic.

The restaurant is perhaps best known for its popular egg-based weekend brunches. The dinner menu covers more adventurous territory with fewer frills but satisfying results nonetheless. A fresh and crisp foie gras accompanies salmon and scallop confit served with fresh berries, seasoned greens and a zesty vinaigrette. Japanese black cod is the fish dish of note and on the pasta front, homemade penne with spicy Italian sausage and parmesan is both filling and lip-lickingly good. The thick-cut french fries have a valid claim to be amongst the best in town. Desserts are as enjoyable taken with coffee mid-afternoon as they are after the generous main dishes on offer in the evening. There are many nice touches here to make a vist worthwhile, from the excellent service to the way the bill is presented.
