Setting

Among the numerous Italian eateries in Bangkok, this one has definitely made a name for itself. Since its inception in 1996 chef Gianni Favro has been doing it right and you can expect top quality Italian fare and friendly service in a tranquil and sophisticated setting.

Food

Begin your meal with carpaccio. The thinly-sliced beef served with rocket salad and parmesan is an ideal starter. An good alternative would be sauteed artichokes with pan-fried scallops complemented with black truffle shavings. Continue your culinary journey with pan-fried fillet of Patagonian tooth fish. Thoughtfully portioned, elegantly presented and cooked to perfection, the tender and juicy fish is accompanied by an assortment of vegetables. Risotto can be considered a somewhat simple dish, yet here it is a testament to just how good an Italian restaurant this is and Gianni’s selection of risotto dishes will not disappoint. Try the classic risotto porcini. Its creamy texture, richness and mouthwatering flavours will have you wanting more. Conclude your meal with the standout tiramisu Illy, or the light and bright panna cotta and passion fruit coulis.
