Alternatively try a refreshing salad such as caesar with smoked duck breast or the traditional nicoise with fresh tuna. Follow with a typical dish from the south of France. Recommended is sea bass en-papillote, a fresh fish fillet cooked in parchment paper with traditional provencal accompaniments of zucchini, capers, olives and tomatoes. Or choose a tender and juicy rib-eye steak served with lightly truffle-speckled french fries and a red chimichurri sauce with garlic and parsley punch. End your meal with a choice of Gallic desserts such as a decadent chocolate mousse or a light and creamy iced nougat served with candied fruit and nuts, which add both texture and fragrance.
