Setting

A contemporary Chinese restaurant with lavish interiors fit for a banquet, family gathering or an intimate date. Fei Ya’s menu offers traditional Chinese cuisine with an emphasis on fresh seafood and duck specialties.

Food

A good starter are the moreish deep-fried mushrooms, which have a crispy texture and pair very well with a sesame mayonnaise dip. Also try sweet and sour soup, a Sichuan classic. Although it may look like a simple dish, Fei Ya is able to bring out the complexity of flavours. The broth is rich and thick with just the right amount of vinegar added. The showstopper, however, is the restaurant’s signature lychee wood-roasted peking duck, which is expertly sliced at your table. Once you have eaten the perfectly crisp skin you can opt to have the duck meat prepared in a number of ways; fried with salt and pepper and crispy garlic is recommended. Try the unique aloe vera and lemongrass jelly to finish.
