New five- and seven-course degustation menus, complete with wine pairings, have recently been introduced. Realistic in pricing and portions, they are an excellent introduction to the contemporary classics of this kitchen. From the a la carte menu start with the succulent scallops in garlic butter or Pascal’s signature home-smoked salmon. Terrine de foie gras is exceptional accompanied by tangy, sticky chutney, while luxurious Canadian lobster cocktail is second to none. German-style pork knuckle is a stalwart roast on the menu. Crisp and crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside, it is a must try. Beef aficionados will enjoy the hefty 300 gr wagyu sirloin steak while fish lovers can opt for wild dover sole pan-fried in butter with parsley and lemon. Excellent desserts include a sensational Swiss chocolate mousse and crepes suzette expertly flambeed tableside in Grand Marnier.
