Chef Anongrat Meklai presents many favourite Thai tastes with a unique and beautiful presentation. Be sure to order the delightful poh pia sod, a Black Ginger specialty in which diners fill and roll their own light pancakes with luscious pieces of fresh crab and tender pork with tasty condiments. Tod mun goong, juicy deep-fried shrimp cakes, are also delicious and bursting with flavour. The menu includes several outstanding Thai salads. Yam mamuang goong sieb is a refreshing combination of large dried prawns tossed with shredded green mango with local cashew sprinkled on top. Another favourite is plah makhua yao, slowly smoked Thai eggplant with plump shrimps, wild Thai herbs and freshly squeezed lime juice. For a main course try gaeng massaman kae, a rich Indianinfluenced curry with premium lamb pieces, or goong makham, large local shrimps flash-fried with a sweet and sour tamarind sauce.
