From a comprehensive menu dominated by fresh seafood, choose huge, luscious tiger prawns rolled with crispy yellow noodles and a choice of two sauces (plum or chilli) as a spectacular opening dish. Another enjoyable starter is the tangy minced pork served with noodles and balsam leaf. Deep-fried sea bass topped with galangal and coconut sauce is also a delight, the fish moist but firm and delicately seasoned. Herbed prawn curry with betel leaves is creamy and spicy and constitutes another aromatic and memorable main course. Recommended is the irresistible deep-fried honeyed chicken in pandanus leaves. For dessert enjoy sticky rice with mango. The range of dishes here is extraordinarily extensive and includes six soups, five with a seafood component, and 15 salads, most with locally sourced herbs and vegetables. The curries encompass both paneang and Indian styles, as well as traditional green and yellow Thai curries.
