Setting

Despite its simple interior, the genuine Thai flavours of the traditional family dishes from Thitid Tassanakajohn, the chef behind the Thai-inspired modern cuisine of Le Du, will take you by surprise.

Food

Somtum with fermented crab is a good way to prep the palate. Follow with the tender pork satay with hints of cumin, which is accompanied by a nutty, concentrated peanut sauce. With less sweetness and more sourness and spiciness, the restaurant’s signature five-spiced egg soup offers a complicated flavour profile with delicious eggs and pork belly. Another highlight is the intensely seasoned signature stir-fried minced dry-aged beef, which is packed with scents of the spicy holy basil. Young coconut jelly is sweet but not too sweet with strong coconut aromas. For a more substantial dessert, try taro balls with coconut milk.

Wine

Thai-inspired cocktails and mocktails are available as well as a good selection of wine labels from popular wine-producing regions.
