Begin with bite-sized tapas served the traditional way in clay dishes. Try chorizo, authentic in both presentation and taste, the sausage’s strong flavour brings out the juiciness of the meat with just the right kick of spiciness. Another recommended tapas is garlic prawns. The large, plump prawns are firm in texture and taste and enhanced by thinly sliced fried garlic. Other traditional tapas are also available, including moreish croquettes and the signature jamon iberico. The showstopper, however, is black ink paella served with octopus and clams. The rice is evenly coated with black squid ink and generously topped with chunky pieces of octopus and large, fresh clams. Chewy yet soft, the rice is perfectly cooked and the well-balanced flavour enhanced by a squeeze of lime that also brings out the sweetness of the shellfish. End with crispy churros with smooth and creamy chocolate.
