Until March 18, French chef Nicolas Isnard of Prenois’ Michelin-starred Auberge de la Charme will be showcasing his culinary finesse at The District Grill Room and Bar, Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit. A special a la carte menu highlights the chef’s Mediterranean and Italian influences on classic Southern French fare.
Amongst our favourites are dishes that fuse tradition with creativity. Oyster vichyssoise with caviar is scrumptiously light and refreshing, a truly elegant combination of flavours and textures. Carbonara is put together 2017-style—the dish beautifully features a rich and flavourful marriage of ingredients, but without the pasta. Plump gamberoni is accompanied by a creamy peanut sauce and crisp cucumbers. Juicy stockyard beef fillet is well complemented by a sweet beetroot purée and aromatic truffle. Onion soup presents hot and cold variations of the vegetable in one bowl. Dessert decadently presents a tropical mix of fresh mango, blood orange sorbet and passion fruit.
