The cosy yet refined vibes, paired with delicious, authentic dishes make No. 43 an ideal spot for those looking for an evening plan or a relaxing spot with great food for a midday meetup. During lunch hours, the restaurant serves a buffet line with delicacies ranging from pizzas to exquisite house-made macarons, attracting crowds of execs from the surrounding office buildings, as well as visiting expats. Come evening, guests can expect delectable a la carte dishes, especially prepared under the guidance of head chef Giovanni Salice, who formerly ran his own pizzeria in Italy

Seafood Soup

Start your meal at No. 43 with a soup, such as the Seafood Soup, a delightful combination of prawns, squids, scallops and clams, served in tomato soup. Basil, parsley and chopped garlic and onion add a flavourful twist, accentuated by olive oil and a touch of white wine. Follow with a filling meat dish. The Fillet of Beef is a thick and tender portion of imported beef tenderloin, exceptionally prepared with black pepper and sea salt. An alternative to the beef are the imported lamb chops, another must-try for its succulence nuanced flavours. All meat dishes come with a choice between three sauces: pepper, red wine and mushroom.

Pasta-lovers mustn't miss out on the Pasta with Porcini Cream, a creamy signature of spaghetti and porcini mushroom. Aromatic truffle oil adds a touch of rich, decadent flavour that makes this dish hard not to love.

Despite an exciting selection of plates, No. 43 is still most renowned for outstanding pizzas—considered by many to be the best in town. Freshly prepared on the daily, the pizzas here boast an incredibly crispy crust, topped with an enticing variety of toppings that range from parma ham to carbonara. The Pizza Parma Ham Rocket is ideal for sharing, with thin and crisp pizza crust topped with parmesan and mozzarella, rocket salad and, of course, parma ham.

End off your meal with tempting desserts, specially created by the resident pastry chef. The tiramisu gives you an exquisite blend of coffee, dark cocoa powder and lady finger biscuit soaked in brandy. The panna cotta is another Italian sweet-toothed staple here. Unlike the usual panna cotta served with just fresh fruits, at No. 43 the Italian dessert comes with a side of pistachio cream to perfectly balance the ratio of sweet and fruity. If you’re more of a cake person, the glass pastry shelf just outside serves appealing treats—available with 10% discount if you opt for takeaway. We highly recommend the Strawberry Cheesecake for something sweet and incredibly creamy, while the macarons here are also worthy of mention—not overwhelmingly sweet but bringing out the best in each flavour.
