137 Pillars Suites & Residents has collaborated with Turkish Airlines to invite award-winning chef Tolgar Mireli for two exciting gala dinners at Nimitr restaurant. Chef Mireli’s profile is one twinkling with Michelin stars, having worked in some of the best restaurants worldwide, including names such as Michel Roux Jr’s Le Gavroche in London—also known as the first Michelin accredited restaurant in the UK—as well as Hubertus in Austria and Le Val D’Or in Germany, both of which boast two Michelin stars.

What to expect? Chef Mireli has prepared two five-course menus of Turkish delights, using 100 kilograms of ingredients he personally flew in from Turkey. While the dishes served will differ between the two gala dinners, diners can be prepared to feast on incredible dishes ranging from classic hummus—cumin flavoured mashed chickpeas—to slow-cooked lamb shoulder wrapped in kadayif and garlic pilaf. Turkey’s reputation for tantilating desserts have not been forgotten either. —the courses include a delectable traditional pumpkin dessert with tahini and walnuts, as well as dried apricot and figs stuffed with cream. Upon request, guests can also have their courses paired with wine by the hotel’s sommelier.

The gala dinners are held on October 26 and 27, beginning at 6:30pm. 3,000++ baht gets you a five-course Turkish meal, while 4,000++ baht comes with wine pairing. Diners in attendance will also get the chance to take part in a lucky draw, with the chance to win two round-trip business class tickets to Europe, sponsored by Turkish Airlines. Turkish coffee and traditional baklavas will also be served in the hotel lobby until October 27.
