If you love high tea, we've got a challenge for you. As you know, Ratchaprasong is home to some of Bangkok's finest department stores and five-star hotels, from the Renaissance Bangkok and the InterContinental to the recently reformed Gaysorn Village shopping and lifestyle centre. And you might also be aware that in many of these establishments are cosy places where you can while away the afternoon with some lavish high tea sets.

Recognising the district's potential in serving world-class high tea, The Ratchaprasong Square Trade Assocation (RSTA) and Bangkok Bank has invited eight major tea rooms in the Ratchaprasong District to take part in a joint high tea affair known as the High Tea Jubilee 2018. A theme of "Blosson Tea Delight" was selected by the organisers, and tea rooms from the Renaissance Bangkok, the Anantara Siam, Centara Grand, the Grand Hyatt Erawan, the InterContinental, Novotel Bangkok Platinum, the St. Regis and Gaysorn Village have each come up with inspired high tea menus. Here are the eight special tea sets you can enjoy in the Ratchaprasong area from now until the end of June:
