Toro

For their Valentine’s menu, the Bangkok branch of this New York imported eatery fine-tuned the traditional Barcelona tapas with touches of Thai flavours. Chef De Cuisine Zach Watkins (who’s also been featured on our list of Thailand’s Most Eligible Chefs) explained the ethos behind the restaurant is to combine locally sourced ingredients to Toro’s signature dishes in order to honour local cuisine and palate, while also creating a more exciting dining experience. For 2,500++ THB per couple, enjoy small plates like marinated French Oleron oysters with calamansi ponzu and shiso, as well as the Filete a la Plancha – spiced rubbed hanger steak topped with green curry butter. Rounding up the night nicely is the banana miso churros and two complementary glasses of sparkling wines and a special gift for every couple.
